Weare Real Estate

Weare is located in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.  It is near Manchester and Concord.  It is home to two lakes; Everett Lake, also known as Clough State Park, and Horace Lake. 

Weare was incorporated in 1764.  It is home to the first Quaker seminary in New Hampshire, Clinton Grove Academy.  The complex housed a classroom building, barns, sheds and a boarding house until it burned down.  Classes were later held in the Quaker meeting house until a new building was built.  

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Weare’s population at the time was 7,776 people.  This included 2,618 households and 2,117 families.  The average family size was 3.28 and the average household size was 2.97.  Weare is comprised of 58.8 square miles of land and 1.0 square miles of water. 

Weare Real estate and Homes:  In 2000, there were 2,828 homes and an average of 48 homes (houses / condos) per square mile.  In 2007, it was estimated that real estate in Weare, New Hampshire was comprised of a total of 3,431 homes.  This included 2,750 single family homes and 385 multi-unit homes.
